// the problem

I kept forgetting to water my plants. A calendar reminder would have fixed it, but I'd just bought a pack of NFC stickers on impulse and wanted an excuse to use them — so I built an app instead. Tapping a sticker on a pot logs the watering, and a push notification nudges me when it's been ten days. The unplanned upside: my roommate can check the app and see whether a plant has already been watered before he waters it again.

// screens

A plant's detail screen: a hydration ring with a "Happy" badge, a Water now button, a Tap tag to mark watered button, a schedule of every 10 days, and an NFC tag linked card.The New Plant form: emoji icon picker, pot colour swatches, name and species fields, and a watering interval selector set to 7 days.iOS's system scan sheet reading "Ready to Scan — hold your iPhone near a blank tag to link it."
